Life & Professional Experience:
I was raised in Palo Alto and have spent most of my life living, studying, working and raising a family in neighborhoods throughout the Bay Area – from Palo Alto to Moraga to San Francisco to San Carlos to Mountain View to Campbell and San Jose. I know the Bay Area because I have lived it.
I attended Palo Alto High School and San Jose State University and have had the good fortune to experience the Bay Area as it has transformed into a dynamic and wonderfully diverse aggregation of neighborhoods that provide a wealth of lifestyle options.
Prior to building my real estate practice, I spent over two decades as a corporate financial consultant pricing the securities of privately-held companies with sales up to half a billion dollars. Aside from financial modeling, my specializations were negotiations and contract review – skills that serve my clients well in this fast-moving and competitive real estate market.
My wife Julie and I have raised 3 children – providing additional perspectives on what really matters in life.
Philosophy:
I specialize in the Peninsula and South Bay and my real estate practice is dedicated to helping everyone “Find Their Happy Place” - recognizing that financial security, a feeling of sanctuary, and a sense of community are key underpinnings to one’s sense of well-being.
My process involves listening, and listening, and listening – and using my experience, expertise, network, and skills to help you get the results that are right for you, whether you are buying or selling.
And whether I’m recommending talented and trustworthy contractors to help you fix-up your new home, helping you find your next home, or just providing periodic market updates, my goal is to continually share my value with you so we can be real estate partners for life.
Your Next Step:
The purchase or sale of a home usually only happens a handful of times in a person’s life. Given the effect such an event can have on the quality of your life, its important you talk with a number of agents – including me – before selecting one. If we are a good match, we will both know it. So, be as careful shopping for your agent as you would shopping for your home. And make sure to call me for a no-obligation, no-pressure, and always informative conversation. If you are looking to collaborate with a seasoned professional who has your best interests at heart, I’m here for you.
